Hong Kong

Note: This letter was written last week but never posted due to Dad's late report on our time with MMO&M. This week has been even slower than last week due to the fact that we've both been sick. But tomorrow we head to Thailand, dragging our antibiotics with us. It's the first ever Returned Missionary Temple Seminar this week, so prayers are welcomed as I struggle to pull this together with my foggy head. We have 40 missionaries from all over Asia coming, 14 of them will be receiving their endowments for the first time since they were never able to leave their country during COVID. It promises to be a big week. Love to you all!  Dear Family, It's been a rather slow feeling week with lots of work and lots of recovery from another wild week running around Hong Kong with MMO&M.   Work continues to be intense as there are several real estate projects for Dad that need to be closed immediately, he's trying to re-register one of the countries with their government...

Dear Family, I'm writing this a week late because Mark, Melissa et al were still here last Sunday night. So I am finally getting around to this a week late. We had a great time with MMOM. Weather was great, food was great, company was great. We took a lot of pictures so I'll just run through a small sampling of them here with some comments. MMOM arrived late at night so we got up first thing next morning and headed out into Hung Hom for some bakery delicacies. And then it was lunch time so we headed over to Hong Kong Island and had a dim sum lunch. Here Maci is learning how to eat the famous soup dumplings without getting the soup all over her. Same for Owen.  Then we headed over to the Bakehouse and cleaned them out of egg tarts and other goodies. We then caught a bus up to the peak and had dinner out on the veranda. Delicious indian food.
